Project overview
Sustainable, minimalist and extremely refined: The Worm-house not only inspires with its extraordinary form and façade, it combines the most diverse products in a coherent concept and opens up completely new spatial experiences. Like a worm, the 105 square metre detached house meanders through the Polish landscape. The unusual shape of the building immediately catches the eye and opens up a wide range of interpretation possibilities.
Project history
Overcame constraints of a narrow plot and tight budget, creating a compact yet innovative home. Windows became pivotal for light, views, and ventilation, blurring indoor-outdoor boundaries. Innovative features include folding glass panels and waste design principles. Multi-use areas optimize space, like a compact bathroom with a unique bathtub-shower setup. Sustainability was prioritized, repurposing materials and embracing innovative construction methods. Despite challenges, the dedication invested in WORMHOUSE reflects in its efficient design and resourceful use of space.
