The main idea of the project arises from the existing building itself, that hosts the proposed restaurant. A building born during the modernism movement and which nowadays is part of an area defining a particular urban character in the city of Nicosia. The geometric bends project an organic, repetitive pattern which shapes the main axes of the space. The deep blue color of the ceiling – the infinite world, forms the space to be perceived as a sky roof. It is also a morphological art originated from modernists, that used to color the ceilings in tones of light blue and blue, inspiring a bidirectional visual game between the building and the sky. The restaurant consists of the main hall which is composed in a parallel, linear arranement that relax in the center of the space. In this core, the main dining area is located under a lighting sky source. The moon. A unique decorative light, designed by Davide Groppi. Right behind the dining table, the user encounters the bar – the core link between multiple functions of the restaurant. Ancillary spaces including storage, office and toilets are located on the backside of the building, as well as the kitchen. The impressive culinary experience is an incomparable detail of the architecture identity of the restaurant.
