Project Objective:RDC House is designed to provide a modern and energy-efficient individual dwelling, situated in a splendid natural setting.Design Concept:The exterior design of RDC House focuses on creating a strong connection between the interior and nature. By using large glazed openings, the house opens up to the forest at the back of the yard, offering residents a continuous and harmonious panorama with the surrounding environment. This concept transforms nature into a visual and emotional connector between the interior of the house and the exterior, bringing the tranquility and beauty of nature into the living space.Unique Features:RDC House stands out through several innovative features:Connection between interior and exterior: Each room benefits from large windows, allowing abundant natural light to enter and providing unobstructed views of the green landscape.Interior design: The children’s bedrooms feature vaulted ceilings and lofts, creating versatile and interesting living spaces.Energy efficiency: The house uses an air-water heat pump for heating and cooling, ensuring minimal energy consumption and optimal thermal comfort.Sustainability and Technology:RDC House is equipped with advanced technological solutions to maximize energy efficiency and resident comfort:Centralized heat recovery system: This ensures efficient ventilation and reduces energy losses.Centralized vacuum system: Simplifies house maintenance and contributes to maintaining a clean indoor environment.Integrated smart home: Allows easy control of all house systems, from lighting and climate control to security.Low energy consumption: Thanks to these technologies, monthly energy costs are extremely low, averaging only 100 EUR/month.Conclusion:RDC House is not just a dwelling; it is an example of how technology and design can create a harmonious and sustainable living space. In a prime location in Corbeanca, this house represents an oasis of tranquility and efficiency, perfect for those who wish to live in harmony with nature without compromising modern comfort.
Project history
Choosing Excellence: How the Beneficiary Chose the Design and Contributed to One of Romania’s Most Energy-Efficient HomesEvery architectural project begins with a story, and for this house, the story begins with a recommendation and a simple desire to move into a new space quickly. However, what followed was much deeper and more engaging. Our beneficiary came to our office through a recommendation, with the desire to have a new home as quickly as possible. Initially, there was a need for the rapid design of a house, with a focus on functionality and a short delivery time. However, through a series of discussions and consultations, we were able to highlight the complexity of the design process and the importance of a detailed approach. We had the privilege of sharing with our beneficiary our passion and vision for architecture and sustainability. Through the discussions, the beneficiary realized the importance of investing in a detailed design process and chose to engage in this direction. This decision led to a deep collaboration between our team and the beneficiary, where every detail was analyzed and discussed in depth. Through this meticulous approach, we were able to create not just a house, but one of the most energy-efficient homes in Romania. The beneficiary was actively involved in the design process, contributing ideas and constant feedback to ensure that their vision and needs were properly met. Thus, every aspect of the house, from the architectural design to the selection of materials and the integration of sustainable technologies, was carefully examined and refined to achieve the highest standards of performance and energy efficiency. The end result is not just a house, but a symbol of collaboration and commitment to excellence. Through the dedication and involvement of the beneficiary, we were able to transform a simple desire to move into an exceptional living experience that not only meets current needs but also lays the groundwork for a more sustainable and conscious future.
