Mountain Apartment A&H came as a second collaboration with the same clients, after a successful retail project in Sarajevo’s Old Town. This time, the task was to design a warm, functional mountain retreat on Bjelašnica, where their family of four could relax during ski trips and nature escapes. The apartment was still under construction, giving us freedom to use natural materials; wood, stone, and spa-inspired textures aligned with a calm, organic concept. A long hallway was transformed into a fluid built-in storage system connecting the entrance to the living area. The clients love spending time there and often say it feels like a true escape. Their guests are always amazed, often assuming the apartment cost far more than it did. In reality, it was designed rationally with carefully selected elements and a consistent concept that creates a strong sense of exclusivity without excess.
