Project overview

This single-level house was designed as a peaceful retreat, perfectly integrated with its sloped lakeside site. The intention was to create a discreet volume that opens generously toward the landscape. A warm ceramic ventilated façade continues indoors, where natural textures and calm tones define cozy, functional spaces for a young family. Construction cost: approx. €1,300/sqm.

Project history

The project began in 2020, when a young family with three children sought to build a quiet, nature-connected home on a sloped lakeside plot. From the start, they envisioned a house that would feel grounded, discreet from the street, and open toward the lake. The design evolved around this desire for calm and balance, resulting in a low, wide structure that blends into its surroundings. Completed in 2022, the home has brought the clients daily comfort and a strong connection to the landscape, becoming a personal retreat that subtly inspires those around them.
