Project overview

The architectural proposal presents a dynamic and innovative school building designed to foster creativity, participation, and interaction among students. It pays homage to the rich history and traditions of the educational institution, seamlessly integrating into the beautiful landscape of the Anatolia College Campus. The structure prioritizes sustainability by optimizing indoor environmental conditions such as thermal comfort and air quality while minimizing energy consumption.

Project history

Initiated by Anatolia College to meet growing educational needs, the project began with a vision to create a sustainable, future-forward school building that would also respect the institution’s heritage. The client emphasized the importance of integrating the new facility with the historic Compton Hall and the natural landscape of the campus. Completed after a multi-phase planning and design process, the building now houses nineteen classrooms, five labs, three soundproof rooms, two visual arts studios, office spaces for administration and educators, and the “Kassandra Auditorium”. Bioclimatic strategies, energy-efficient systems, and natural ventilation were key design drivers. The result is a healthy, inspiring learning environment with low environmental impact. The project has strengthened the campus identity, enhanced user experience, and reaffirmed Anatolia College’s commitment to educational excellence and sustainability for its community.
