Project overview

Glovo’s 2000+ sqm office in Bucharest’s U Center 2 was designed to be modern, functional, and inspiring. Emphasizing brand identity, sustainability, and user experience, the space features open workstations, natural light, and flexible layouts. Visual partitions replace hard walls, and sustainable, locally sourced materials were prioritized. Color, texture, and thoughtful furniture arrangement define zones, fostering collaboration and a strong, inclusive workplace culture.

Project history

After the 2020 COVID pandemic, office spaces had to compete with the comfort and flexibility of working from home. As Glovo expanded its headquarters during the food delivery boom, we identified key shifts in office design: fewer fixed desks, more adaptable open spaces, and a stronger focus on social interaction. Our design emphasized shared areas for meetings and collaboration, creating a welcoming, informal atmosphere. We took a proactive approach, anticipating user needs and designing a flexible layout that can evolve without major renovations. Sustainability was central—we chose modular materials that can be reused, recycled, or reconfigured with minimal waste. This reduces environmental impact and supports long-term adaptability. To measure success, we collect feedback from users across the board—from employees to visitors and administrators—ensuring the workspace remains intuitive, productive, and responsive to changing work habits and needs.
