The Blossom Fields project began in 2021 when the Municipality of Tirana sought to revitalize a key administrative building to reflect the city’s evolving identity. From the outset, the client envisioned a structure that would honor its historic roots while embracing sustainability and innovation. A design competition was launched in 2022, emphasizing environmental performance, user well-being, and architectural integrity. Construction commenced in 2023, with completion expected in 2025. The project integrates expanded office space, rainwater harvesting, and green terraces, transforming the site into a vibrant civic hub. The client sees it as a model of forward-thinking governance and a symbol of Tirana’s growth. Already, the project has inspired community interest and pride, signaling a renewed public connection to civic spaces and a shared investment in sustainable urban development.
