Peter Murray is a British writer and commentator on architecture and the built environment. He is currently Chairman of New London Architecture and the London Society, in addition to being Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects. He founded the London Festival of Architecture. He is Chairman of the Temple Bar Trust, Past Master of the Architects’ Company and a Director of the Association of Architectural Organisations. He was previously a Mayor of London’s Design Advocate and a board member of Be First, Barking and Dagenham’s regeneration delivery company. Peter has written numerous books including The Saga of Sydney Opera House, London’s Growing Up and Great Estates. He has recently completed a book on The Leadenhall Building by Rogers Stirk Harbour.
