KBCC & KBCN are 5500 & 4200 sq.m. including Basements. Both Buildings are visually sloping towards the South to achieve maximal solar absorption for the incorporation of PV Panels to achieve the necessary Energy Efficiency “B” & “A” Rating, as well as to give the building its dynamic lines. During the design process of both cases, the plot zoning and orientation dictated the direction that was taken in achieving the overall space use, the final look of the buildings and their landscaping.Tenants came into play during the Construction Phase and this gave the best results when Designing the Internal Spaces of the Corporations that would eventually House them.Both KBCC & KBCN were Designed for a Leading Developer and the Client Design Brief Direction was very time and cost sensitive. This made the Projects much more demanding than other Projects and at the same time more interesting due to the limitations.
