Due to the Location & specific character of the Zoning (Archaeological Zone), there were many restrictions and certain guidelines that needed to be followed. Simple lines were incorporated, materials choices blended with the surroundings, and homage to the Saint Lazaros Church was paid via the selected sandstone (with touches of black for contrast) coloured cladding look, achieved by the cement panels that were incorporated into the Design. These marry with the Fair Faced Planked Concrete Finish (all columns & ceilings), the black steel perimeter beam, the glass balustrades (for a non-invasive fencing) and finally, the Aluminium Powder Coated Screens that were Custom Designed and Fabricated for the Project, introducing this New Building addition into the chaotic and ever changing surrounding urban fabric. All Fixed Furniture was custom designed for the space.Due to the lack of high-end Rentable Units, interest from the General Public peaked before the Project was Completed.
