BUZUKU Bookstore is designed to oppose the notion that a bookstore is merely a place where one goes to buy a book, where a book is only a product, when it should be so much more.Exploring through the bookstore, leafing the books is transformed into an experience where the custom- made shelfing brings back memories of being inside a dark academia library which invites one to read rather than buy, meanwhile the seating and the natural lighting set a cozy tone and serve as an open invitation to get to know the characters inside the books.When you step inside BUZUKU Bookstore time seems to stop. Its carefully composed layout guides the reader to spontaneously take a seat, get a nice warm cup of tea, get cozy in one of its nooks and enjoy their book while appreciating the buzzing scenery of Prishtina square.For the imaginative and wonderous customerinserting technology where it doesn’t belong, via the six screens showcasing the latest arrivals seems like magic. Finally, entering the Manga room, a secluded room at the left of the bookstore gives the impression of walking into a portal on the inside, u in the ceiling, on the dome reminiscent of the renaissance period, anime characters accompany you through the journey of exploring their world while the natural wood shelfs stacked with manga are safely guarded by tree spirits still residing in them.
