The genesis of our project was rooted in a deep appreciation for our country’s architectural heritage and a desire to create a space that seamlessly integrated with its surroundings while serving a multifunctional purpose. It was an endeavor marked by a meticulous journey, guided by the client’s vision, to encapsulate the essence of our construction culture and provide a functional yet aesthetically pleasing environment for various multicultural events. The project started with long brainstorming sessions to create a design that would combine aspects that represent our nation’s construction tradition with brutalist architectural principles. In order to define the project’s goals and design specifications, the client and architects worked closely together during this phase. After the conceptual framework was established, the architectural vision was refined during the design development process. Care was taken in the selection of materials, such as clay block and concrete, that speak to our cultural character, and in maximizing the building’s volume to produce a pleasing balance between form and function.Careful attention to detail during the building process made sure that the materials’ original texture and color were maintained. The building’s modular architecture made it possible to incorporate shadow-light dynamics both outside and within, which improved the structure’s architectural appeal. The volume of the building is in regular geometric shapes, where the module stands out against the volume, giving character to the construction both in the architectural aspect and in the functional aspect. The characteristic of the object is that the modules are created in such a way that the shadow-light game takes place both inside and outside the object. The building has an administrative and multimedia function that will serve for various multicultural events, scenography, shooting space, administration. From the client’s point of view, the project was more than simply a physical building; it was an embodiment of their idea to create a place that honors the architectural legacy of our nation while meeting the requirements of a diverse population. In addition to meeting the client’s aesthetic expectations, the effective fusion of brutalist components with regional building materials and methods demonstrated a profound regard for our cultural character.
