Project history
The Youth Center occupies an 8.4-hectare artificial island in the heart of Sohil Boyi Park, forming one of the key landmarks of New Tashkent. Designed as a vibrant public destination, it supports cultural, educational, creative, and recreational activities while welcoming visitors of all ages. Its architecture combines a distinctive identity with harmony toward the surrounding landscape, creating an iconic venue for festivals, exhibitions, concerts, forums, and national celebrations. The project features an amphitheater, multi-purpose event spaces, sports facilities, cafés, pavilions, picnic areas, quiet gardens, and entertainment zones. Indoor and outdoor venues ensure year-round use. Pedestrian and bicycle routes seamlessly connect the island with neighboring districts. Sustainable planning, energy-efficient solutions, and environmentally responsible design principles are integrated throughout the development, making the Youth Center a dynamic symbol of innovation, culture, community
