Project overview

The building, which we have given the working name "Sumadija code", stands out for its approach in creating a concept that brought a new interpretation of the modern work space within the industrial campus. The facility is composed of two segments connected by bridges through the atrium, which gives a completely new dimension of mingling with complete transparency of all segments of joint work and life, the lifestyle of the millennial generation… fluidly placed communications open up energy .

Project history

CODE ŠUMADIJE: CONTEXT AS INSTRUMENT IN THE ARCHITECTURE During the formation of the architectural concept, we came up with the idea of designing a building in the open plain of central Šumadija that came from the “land of Serbia”, as a foundation stone for some future times, but also as a mediator between the past and the future, which is now in the exchange of knowledge and innovation. This stone is raised on one side, while still being grounded in the ground from which it penetrated… this can be seen both through the geometry and the section. The multi-layered facade provides better shading and protection from the sun, and at the same time provides a play of light and shadow in an enchanted, inspiring space where creation is poetic. During the night, it shines through its net, transparent facade, like a modern personification of a lighthouse and a new spark of workers and peasants that has entered the digital sphere of the new Serbia!
