Project overview

This project is a high end penthouse apartment renovation in the prestigious area of Kolonaki in Athens. Retaining only the concrete frame, we transformed a typical 70s apartment floor plan to suit the current urban residents’ needs. Our proposal raised the value for the property and made the space brighter, more open and airy, taking advantage of the plentiful Athenian sunshine while maximizing the stunning views of the Saronic Gulf, the Acropolis and the Lycabetus Hill.

Project history

The client chose this apartment due to its lively, central location and the stunning views of ancient Athens. The project took over a year to be completed in collaboration with the owners. Their vision was clear from the beginning and the project achieved exactly what they wanted. They wished their apartment to be a three-bed apartment with ensuite bathrooms and a showstopper guest WC. Due to their origins, they requested the space to feel earthy, natural and serene. For this reason, the materials we used for the interiors are natural wood, glass, stone, steel and decorative concrete. Blending the natural with the industrial, we managed to create the Greek home they dreamed of, where they can relax and enjoy a peaceful, bright apartment within the urban, lively Athenian block.
