Located in the rolling landscape of Farkë e Vogël, on the southeastern edge of Tirana, this contemporary villa responds directly to the site’s natural topography. Currently under development, the project integrates with the sloping terrain while emphasizing outdoor living and strong connections to the landscape. Its form emerges from a spatial exploration rather than a predefined image, creating a sequence of interconnected spaces with varying levels of privacy, comfort, and openness.

Project history
The design evolved through a close dialogue with the client, ensuring that the architecture responds to their lifestyle and the changing needs of the family. A central axis organizes the composition, extending from the entrance through the inner courtyard and interior spaces before reconnecting with the outdoor areas. More than circulation, this sequence creates a spatial experience that gradually transitions between public and private realms, revealing different atmospheres along the way. The architecture is conceived as an experience shaped by movement, where form emerges from the careful organization of space and relationships. The building is largely surrounded by buffer spaces that improve passive environmental performance, supporting solar heat gain in winter and reducing overheating in summer. These transitional zones mediate between interior and exterior environments, strengthening both environmental efficiency and spatial continuity.
