Project overview

With panoramic views of the mountain, the terraces become social hubs for coffee, collaboration, activities or relaxation. The workplaces offer a calm and well-lit environment with maximum ergonomics and acoustic comfort while all social zones contrast with color and a lively atmosphere. Biophilic design recycled materials, natural wood and sport elements encourage movement and support employees’ wellbeing. The heart of the office is a multifunctional café with theatrical seating and a bar.

Project history

The Plus500 Office project in Sofia began when the company decided to relocate from its recently renovated Class A office in search of a more dynamic, people-oriented workplace that would better attract and retain young talent. The design took less than two months and the execution of the project was for four months. In collaboration with the designers, the vision evolved into creating a next-generation office focused on wellbeing, movement and collaboration. Since completion, the office has had a strong positive impact on both employees and company culture. Staff embraced the new environment with enthusiasm, enjoying improved comfort, productivity and social interaction. The project demonstrates how contemporary workplaces can successfully combine sustainability, flexibility and wellbeing, setting a new benchmark for office design in Sofia’s business community.
