The project began with the clients’ wish to build a protected, quiet and efficient home, able to provide privacy without losing its connection to the outdoors. The initial brief focused on a clear domestic program, separating private and shared areas while opening the house generously toward the inner courtyard. During the concept phase, the house was shaped as an introverted volume, closed toward the street and carefully opened toward the garden. The design process refined the relationship between light, courtyards, circulation and interior spaces. For the clients, the project became a personal retreat, tailored to their way of living. For the community, it offers a discreet and responsible urban presence, respecting the street while protecting private life.
