Project overview

Obi Hayot is a 110-hectare ecotourism master plan designed as a connected lakeside destination. Its key achievement is the integration of hospitality, wellness, sport, culture and recreation within a climate-responsive landscape framework. The plan includes 54.22 ha of green areas, 14.44 ha of pedestrian routes, internal waterways, waterfront facilities, renewable-energy measures and phased infrastructure delivery. Project history

The Obi Hayot project was commissioned in 2024 to create a long-term development framework for a 110-hectare lakeside site in Jarkurgan District. From the beginning, the client sought a destination that could combine tourism, recreation, accommodation and public use while responding to the site’s hot climate and waterfront setting. Bloom Arch developed the master plan through site analysis, functional zoning, mobility planning, landscape strategy, utility networks and a three-phase implementation programme. The completed project was delivered in August 2024. For the client, it provides a structured basis for future investment and phased construction. For the local community, the proposal is intended to improve access to the waterfront, create new public spaces and services, support tourism-related employment and strengthen the environmental quality of the area.
