Moldova HiTech Park is a 50-ha masterplan turning a strategic site at Chișinău's northern gateway into an integrated innovation district. Six sectors are organized around a central green heart, merging IT & business offices (38%), an advanced medical pole (22%), education, clean high-tech production, coliving and a convention centre. Key figures: 126,189 sqm footprint, 627,665 sqm gross built area, GF+4 to GF+11 heights, 40% green space, integrated sustainability and photovoltaic parking.

Project history

Moldova HiTech Park began in 2025 as a national strategic vision of the Moldova IT Park Administration: not a real-estate scheme but an innovation ecosystem to attract, train and retain talent, inspired by Sophia Antipolis and Kista Science City. The 125-ha site — largely public, undeveloped agricultural land at Chișinău’s northern gateway, on the Calea Orheiului (M2) / Bucovinei road node — long carried an agricultural designation mismatched with its strategic potential. In January 2026, Stăuceni Town Council Decision 1/30 authorized the justification study to initiate the Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ); the masterplan and technical report followed in June 2026. For the client, the park converts underused state land into a hub fusing university, an advanced medical pole, startups, GovTech and high-tech production. Phase 1 (Sectors 5 & 2, ~23 ha) builds the functional nucleus and critical mass to attract early investors, anchoring a new innovation community for the region.
