Overlooking a sprawling plot, this residence commands sweeping views of the surrounding hills, epitomizing a harmonious blend of transparency and seclusion. The architectural concept pivots on the delicate interplay between visibility and privacy, achieved through a seamless integration of structure, landscape, and vegetation. This delicate balance ensures residents enjoy panoramic vistas without sacrificing their sense of intimacy.

Project history

The project began in late 2020, when we were asked to make a proposal for a house for a couple and their four children. We presented eight distinct massing concepts, since the plot had a considerable slope. The information seemed overwhelming for the client, and when he asked us which was our favorite concept, he was delighted that we shared the same opinion. We had to take a holistic approach, since the client wanted us to take care of everything, from architecture down to the interior and exterior decorations. We also took care of the construction phase, supervising it. After all the struggle and stress we endured, right before they moved in, the client gave us the keys to the house and let us sleep inside it for the weekend. They cooked for us and made us feel fantastic. We did not just make a house project; we made a home for our new friend.
