Horizon Kids is the second chapter of an ongoing collaboration, following the success of the first Horizon Center, recognized with several national and international awards. Rather than repeating a proven formula, the new project became an opportunity to evolve it. It began with a question: can a classroom awaken curiosity before a lesson even begins? The existing interior was imagined as a small landscape of discovery. A “mystic path” became its spine, leading children through worlds of Water, Space, Adventure, Art and Earth, each shaped around a different stage of development. Along this journey, abstract silhouettes woven into the walls reinterpret important elements of the city’s architectural heritage alongside motifs drawn from local tradition, connecting imagination with memory and place in a very subtle way. Through child-scaled furniture, sensory materials, interactive surfaces, light and color, ordinary rooms became territories for exploration
