Project overview

The project involves building the "Historical Gallery of Transylvania" museum complex. It is designed to serve the right to education by providing interactive cultural spaces, exhibition areas, workshop rooms, and a multifunctional hall. Furthermore, it includes specialized long-term storage for historical objects and research laboratories equipped to international standards.

Project history
Conceived as a major cultural pole for Eastern Europe, the complex features two distinct volumes: an exhibition building and a facility for labs and multifunctional spaces. Set against a natural hill, it connects to the exterior via a pedestrian bridge. The design creates a hierarchy of volumes integrated into the landscape, with lab functions buried in the basement. This ensures state-of-the-art preservation while providing an interactive educational hub. The project’s impact on the community includes facilitating access to their historical identity through interactive cultural and social activities, while ensuring optimal, long-term preservation and research capabilities for valuable artifacts.
