The project emerged from Eczacıbaşı Sports Club’s need for a larger, internationally compliant facility as its existing 1,000-seat hall became insufficient. Eczacıbaşı decided to develop a new center bringing the club’s activities together. 2023-Yazgan Tasarım Mimarlık was commissioned to design a multifunctional complex with a 4,000-seat arena, training halls, preparation facilities for senior and youth teams, offices, accommodation, museum, retail and gym functions, with flexibility for cultural and entertainment events. 2023-2024 – The design was developed through close collaboration between the client, coach, club management, technical teams, architects, engineers and consultants. The client contributed volleyball-specific expertise and supported key design decisions. 2025 – Construction was completed. The project aims to contribute to Kartal’s public life, young people and sports culture, while supporting women’s volleyball and empowering future generations of girls through sport.
