Project history
DGI House began from the client’s desire to create a contemporary family home connected to nature, while maintaining a strong sense of privacy and comfort. From the earliest design stages, the project was envisioned as a calm and protected living environment organized around a landscaped inner courtyard that brings natural light and vegetation deep into the house. The design process focused on balancing generous open spaces with intimate areas, creating fluid connections between interior and exterior living. A defining architectural gesture became the double-height living space with its fully glazed gable facing the garden. Sustainability also played a central role from the beginning, leading to the integration of photovoltaic panels, high-performance insulation, and energy-efficient systems aligned with nZEB principles.
