This compact wine bar proposes an experimental approach to hospitality design in Armenia. Rooted in local wine culture, the concept introduces a continuous vine within a gallery-like interior. The programme combines bar service, flexible seating, an experimental kitchen, terrace and event use. Custom furniture and individually controlled lighting create different moods. Delivered within a €145,000 budget, the project achieves a strong identity through restraint and continuity.

Project history

Initiated in 2025, the project grew from the client’s ambition to create a distinctive wine bar connected to Armenia’s winemaking culture while offering a new spatial experience. From concept development to production, our studio shaped the idea of a continuous vine extending from the terrace through the interior and into the custom furniture. The design evolved in close collaboration with the client, balancing a clear identity with the practical needs of service, seating, lighting and daily operation. For the client, the project created a recognizable venue with a strong narrative, a flexible programme and a memorable identity that supports both everyday use and special events. For visitors and the wider community, the terrace adds social value through open-air film evenings on Saryan Street, inviting passers-by to stop, join and become part of a shared urban experience.
