Commissioned by the Amigos restaurant chain as it expanded within Skopje, the project began with a brief for a flagship space that would feel distinct from standard restaurant fit-outs — warm, tactile, and memorable enough for both daily lunches and evening gatherings.
The design leans into craft: a ceiling mural by local artist Miroslav Masin sets the tone above a 150-seat dining room, bar, and terrace, while stained glass made using an original traditional technique and solid wood used throughout — from paneling to custom tables and stools — give the €700,000, 450 m² space a handmade, layered character rather than an imported concept-restaurant look.
Construction is underway, with opening planned for September 2026. For the client, the project marks a new flagship location for the brand; for Skopje’s dining scene, it introduces a rare example of commissioned local artwork and traditional craft built directly into a restaurant’s everyday fabric.
