Commissioned in 2025 by a consortium of five private investors, ALGERIA Residences answers Skopje’s growing demand for refined, well-located housing. Rather than maximizing density, the investors’ brief called for a discreet, boutique building of just 15 apartments, each with dedicated basement parking, shaped around daily life rather than yield.
This was translated into a design of sculptural marble facades, warm oak interiors, and a shared landscaped garden, with lobby art curated around celebrated Algerian women painters, including Baya Mahieddine, echoing the project’s name and the street it sits on.
Set on Algeria Street in Karpoš, close to schools, parks and healthcare, construction began in 2025 and completes in 2027. For its future residents, ALGERIA offers a quieter, more considered home; for the neighbourhood, a carefully scaled addition that respects the surrounding low-rise fabric while setting a new benchmark for residential design in Skopje.
