AI9 Startup Campus transforms a fragmented building in Yerevan’s Circular Park into a contemporary hub for entrepreneurship and innovation. Originally an underground public restroom during the Soviet era, the site later evolved into the “Triumph” restaurant through uncoordinated expansions that left it without a coherent architectural identity. The project reimagines this irregular structure through adaptive reuse, introducing inflated biomorphic forms that unify the existing volumes while improving thermal insulation. The bold red exterior creates a deliberate contrast with the surrounding greenery, reinforcing the building’s sculptural presence within the urban landscape. Resembling a living organism generated by artificial intelligence, the architecture aligns its expressive form with its new function as a campus for startups, creativity, and technological innovation.
