We are less than 3 weeks away from the FREE submissions deadline at the SHARE Architecture Awards 2026. After July 31st, Project Submissions will no longer be free.
If you’ve built something you’re proud of, this is the moment to put it in front of an international jury. Here’s how the process works, step by step.
What are the SHARE Architecture Awards?
The SHARE Architecture Awards are the leading international architecture competition for Central and South-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. The competition connects 21 countries as one architectural region and gives built work from this part of the world the international visibility it rarely gets.
What sets it apart: a genuinely international jury, a live judging session, and a Gala Ceremony held abroad. This year, both take place at the Barbican Centre in London, on December 3-4, 2026.
Who can submit
Architecture offices and architects from the 21 participating countries can submit completed projects. A project qualifies by its location, so if your building stands in one of the participating countries, it belongs in the competition, regardless of where your office is registered.
You can submit more than one project. Each entry is evaluated on its own, within its category.
The categories
Projects compete in dedicated categories covering Completed Projects, Ready to Build (Permitted Projects), and Interior Experience . The full list of categories, along with eligibility details, is in the Official Rules: Competition rules and categories (PDF)
Read the rules before you start. Ten minutes there saves you from discovering mid-submission that your project fits a different category better.
The process, step by step
- Register on the platform. Go to awards.share-architects.com and create your account. If you’ve already created an account previously, all you have to do is login.
- Prepare your materials. You’ll need project photos, drawings, and a PDF Presentation with all the information you want the jury to see. Note that this is the only visual that
Quality matters more than quantity here: the jury sees hundreds of projects, and clear images with a sharp, honest description do more work than 40 attachments.
- Choose your category. Pick the one that matches your project’s primary function. If your building mixes functions, choose the dominant one.
- Complete your submission. Fill in the project data, upload your materials, and credit your full team. Then submit. You’ll receive a confirmation once your entry is in.

Don’t wait until July 31st.
Every competition sees a wave of last-minute submissions, and every year some of them run into missing files, wrong formats, or simply the clock.
Register now, even if your materials aren’t ready, your account is free and your entry can be completed afterwards.
