Project overview

Conceived as a contemporary destination for sport, leisure, and social interaction, the project redefines the golf complex through an integrated architectural and landscape approach. Located in Durrës, Albania, it creates a seamless dialogue between architecture and terrain. The clubhouse acts as the social core, combining transparency, functionality, and sustainability. Through a refined material palette and landscape integration, the proposal creates a responsible and engaging destination.

Project history
The project began with the client’s vision to introduce a new recreational and tourism destination in Albania by creating an integrated golf and entertainment venue. Through detailed site analysis and close collaboration with the client, the concept evolved into a masterplan featuring a 6-hole golf course, driving range, clubhouse, and leisure facilities that blend with the natural landscape. From the outset, the client prioritized sustainability, accessibility, and year-round use. The project is designed to attract local and international visitors, create new employment opportunities, stimulate the regional economy, and introduce golf to a broader audience. Beyond sport, it establishes a vibrant community destination that promotes recreation, social interaction, and sustainable tourism in the Durres region.
