A contemplative space at the edge of a park, the gallery embraces the white cube concept while honoring its urban and material context. Neutral finishes, hidden utilities, and carefully controlled light allow each artwork to resonate in silence. With a €70,000 estimated cost—partially covered by sponsorships—the gallery blends public accessibility and spiritual retreat, creating a fluid threshold between community and introspection.

Project history

The gallery has been active in the art world for over 10 years, but in 2022, the team decided to relocate to a new space at the edge of a park. The initial site survey began mid-2022, and demolition started in June 2023. From the beginning, the collaboration between client and design team unfolded naturally—grounded in a shared artistic language. The vision was to create more than an exhibition space: a contemplative, immersive refuge for both artists and visitors. Influenced by the white cube concept yet softened by exposed structural elements, the design balances purity with memory. Hidden functions—reception, storage—were carefully integrated to maintain a sacred atmosphere. The gallery now offers a seamless transition between public space and introspection. Its open ground floor engages the community, while the upper level remains a quiet retreat for wor.
