Project overview

the city of Voluntari has developed intensively as an area adjacent to Bucharest.
After the 2020s, the regulations in the city of Bucharest were late to appear – many investors headed out of Bucharest.

Project history

On the 3000sqm plot, large in size in an area with strong densification and high financial interest – the buildings in the large have individual housing functions. The client wanted an investment that would serve expats concentrated in large numbers in the Voluntari area. Although a lot of repetition and cost-control was desired, we tried to achieve variety through mirroring and dissymmetry. Detailing the execution and creative approaches can lead to positive results – even when things seem to develop monotonously. The project was commercially successful, all 8 units of 500 sq m were sold in the same pre-Covid year.
