The project began as the vision of the Fırtına family, who sought a retreat that would serve both as a private sanctuary and a meaningful space for community interaction. It was developed through an iterative design process that prioritized environmental preservation and cultural continuity. The site-sensitive layout follows the natural topography and preserves existing olive trees, with spaces organized into clusters. Two pools at different levels serve distinct areas of the site. The material palette centers on locally sourced, thermally efficient Sarımsak Stone—used for both facades and interiors—which reflects the region’s historial and cultural heritage. Green roofs, wood floors, and large glass facades help the structures blend into the landscape and foster strong indoor–outdoor connections. The project aims to create a harmonious coexistence with nature, ensuring that the space remains dynamic and reflective of both seasonal rhythms and timeless qualities.
