The Story of SHARE Architects
In the more than 27 years of its existence, SHARE Architects has evolved into one of the most active event networks in Europe. It provides continuous learning opportunities and supports cross-cultural collaboration in Central and South-Eastern Europe, a community in continuous growth.
This year, SHARE Architects expanded its network with two premiere events that increased our presence, recognition, and influence both at the European and global level: SHARE Georgia 2024, which took place recently in Tbilisi, and SHARE Architecture Awards 2024, a large-scale event that served as a platform for exposure and recognition of the value of architecture in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
These two new initiatives have once again underlined our mission to create a bridge between East and West, to support architecture and architects from our region on the international stage, and to promote a dialogue based on shared values, sustainable design, and community impact.
Looking ahead, our 2025 agenda is equally ambitious. With 28 forums planned, we aim to expand into Western Europe Central Asia, and the Caucasus, underscoring our vision for a global architectural community.
Our Distinguished Fellow, architect Ian Ritchie of Ian Ritchie Architects, once said that SHARE Architects is “an intellectual and emotional exchange between creative people”
We are glad to see this spirit in all our events and that the mission of SHARE Architects, to celebrate excellence in architecture and to be a place where knowledge, professionalism, experience, and innovation meet, is becoming a reality.
